Competitive/Spring Season

• Players should want to attend practice / games on their own accord with a positive attitude and respect for coaches.

• Team formation and roster size is determined based on the assumption that players will commit to their team and attend AT LEAST 75% of practices and AT LEAST 90% of games and tournaments.

• Frequent absences from practices and/or games may result is lesser play time, at coach discretion.

• Depending on age level, teams are guaranteed 3-4 tournaments, including both local and away events. Anything beyond that will be the financial responsibility of the team and players.

• Mark your Calendars: All CEC FC players will participate in the "CEC FC Summer Kickoff Jamboree" June 12-13, 2027! Additional tournaments for each team will be shared at a later date.

At CEC FC, all new and returning players not currently playing on a CEC High School team will participate in evaluations on Sunday, October 25th. (Current High School players will complete evaluations in November, date TBD.) These sessions give our coaching staff and independent evaluators a clear picture of each player's current skill level, helping us track growth and development throughout the season.

Specific time slots for each age group will be shared no later than October 10th.

There is a $15 non-refundable registration fee for evaluations that will be collected during registration for equipment and to compensate our evaluators.

Team placements are finalized following evaluations and consider several key factors: individual player development, evaluation scores, coach recommendations, roster needs, and overall team capacity. Players are placed where they will be best supported and challenged based on their current stage of competitive readiness.

• Playing Up: Based on developmental readiness, evaluation results, and roster needs, players may be invited to play up an age group or competition level.
• Club Flexibility: CEC FC reserves the right to adjust team structures, roster sizes, player placements, and tournament schedules to best support both individual player growth and team success.

Our Commitment to Every CEC FC Player: No matter which team a player is placed on, they are an essential part of the CEC FC family. Every player receives quality coaching, structured training, and equal support to reach their full potential. Our mission is to deliver high-level competitive development while maintaining the close-knit, player-focused approach of a small-community club.

Finalized rosters will be shared with all players no later than January 1, 2027.

Each family is expected to offer at least 4 volunteer hours per season.

How it works: There is no upfront fee associated to the volunteer hours. Families are given the duration of the season to log into their Crossbar Account Dashboard to claim and complete the required 4 volunteer hours.

On July 1st, our Volunteer Director will review the volunteer reports. For any family that fell short of their 4 hours, the club will manually assess a post-season volunteer fee of $100 per player (family max $200) to the payment method used at time of registration.

Families will have the option during registration to opt out of the required volunteer hours and pay the $100 per player upfront.

Ways to Volunteer

• Serve on the Board of Directors or specialized committees.
• Coach or assistant coach youth teams.
• Assist with field setup, lining, teardown, and maintenance.
• Serve as a team manager to manage team logistics
• Contribute time in concessions or at events
